Responses to Zen Golf Programs by Club Golfers
"When we went out after the session, I hit my longest drive ever on a long par 5 second hole. I never felt so free! I’ve continued to incorporate what you taught. I find myself enjoying the game so much more. It’s great to discover that being nonjudgmental lets you release a lot of what you carry around, on and off the course."
Terry Brogan, Portland, Oregon
"Just wanted to write a note to say how much I enjoyed the lesson on putting the other day. Thank you for your good advice! You were fun to work with. I would like to have another lesson and have some other referrals for you already! I look forward to seeing you here in the Portland area again. Thank you for being such a good influence on my thought process. It is a pleasure to know you."
Kathy Wentworth, Heron Lakes G.C., Portland, Oregon
Wanted to let you know I had a sort of breakthrough. After our session, I just decided next time out I wasn’t going to complain and whine about what was wrong with each shot all through the round. That round I played considerably better, and the next round, at the Ojai Valley Inn, I had the best score I’ve had in a year.
John Waggoner, Birnham Wood Golf Club, Montecito, CA
"I’m so glad that my husband started working on his game with you. I used to be able to tell how his round went by the way he came up the stairs when he got home from golf. Now I can’t tell anymore."
Valerie Sampson, Halifax, Nova Scotia
"How can I thank you? Our playing lessons are helping my scores come down, but more importantly I'm enjoying the game more. Since I've met you, I have made substantial progress in enjoying life in general and in the enjoyment of golf in particular. Thanks to your teaching, I turned around a double-bogey start to finish with a 76, three strokes off my previous low. Thank you, Joseph!"
